Sylvanus O. Skrovig, 86, of Tallahassee died Friday. The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christian Heritage Church, with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Bevis Funeral Home. A native of Radcliff, Iowa, he had lived in Tallahassee since 1995. He was a general mechanic and alignment specialist. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church.

He is survived by his wife, Johanna S. Skrovig of Tallahassee; two daughters, Frances S. Smith of Tallahassee and Lillian S. Dooies of West Palm Beach; a brother, T. Buddy Skrovig of Dows, Iowa; two sisters, Ione Alvested and Treva Koop, both of Webster City, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
