Fay O. Bloomfield, 78, Clarksville, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at his home. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Norfleet officiating. Remains will be cremated. Visitation will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

He was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Carpenter, Wyo., son of William Troy Bloomfield and Mary Mollie Miller Bloomfield. Mr. Bloomfield was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church, was retired as an engineer with the state of Iowa and was a member of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
In addition to his mother of Dows, Iowa, survivors include his wife, Helen Marie Daggett Bloomfield one daughter, Patricia Milam, Clarksville one brother, Bryan C. Bloomfield, Lake San Marcus, Calif. one sister, Frances Marie Hanson, Iowa Falls, Iowa two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison Street United Methodist Church Rebuilding Fund or to Gateway Health Foundation.
