MILDRED J. JOHNS, 91, of Clearwater died Thursday at Morton Plant Hospital. A native of Dows, Iowa, she moved to this area in 1969 from Waterloo, Iowa. She was a bookkeeper for Municipal Light & Power Co. in Ackley, Iowa, a bridal department salesperson for New York Fashions in Waterloo and Franelle Dress Shop in Clearwater, past national president of Wa-Tan-Ye Association in Waterloo, past president ofe Iowa Club in Clearwater and a member of Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem in Largo, AARP and First United Methodist Church in Clearwater. She is survived by a stepson, Robert L. of Miami; and two cousins. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes, Belcher Road Chapel, Clearwater.
