Hannah K. Koenen, 77, Woodlawn, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at First Reformed Church, Meservey, Iowa, with the Rev. Rodney Meester officiating. Burial will be in Meservey Cemetery, Meservey, Iowa. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

She was born Aug. 28, 1927, in Rowan, Iowa, daughter of Chris and Anna Freeks Stadtlander. She was the widow of Herman William Koenen. Mrs. Koenen was a homemaker and member of First Reformed Church, Meservey. Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Mitchell, Woodlawn; five sisters, Leona Floden, Weslaco, Texas, Minnie Meints, Fort Worth, Texas, Doris Koch, Norwalk, Calif., Annalein Andrews, Webster City, Iowa, Delores Bahnsen, Rockford, Iowa; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
