Bernard Floyd Skadburg, our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, "Bernie" passed away suddenly at his home Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998 at the age of 76.

He was born December 19, 1921 to Ole and Thora Pederson Skadburg in Holmes, Iowa. He was baptized and a member of the Holmes Lutheran Church. He was married to Yvonne Pinkele on October 19, 1946 in the Little Brown Church in the Vail in Nashua, Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; son, Larry, Midvale; son, Loren and wife, Suzy of North Ogden; daughter, Leanne Dalton and husband, Dennis, Vernal; daughter, Lorraine (Dusty) and husband Brent Taylor of Murray; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, four brothers: Norris, Percy, Maynard and Arnold all of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He was employed as a truck driver for P.I.E. and Powder River until he retired in 1981. Bernie was a member of the American Legion. He loved working with wood and golfing. Anytime anyone needed help with anything, Dad was there to help. We will all miss you. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 4, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Redwood Memorial Estates Chapel, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
