Kathy Deanne Deimerly, 43, of Clarion, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 in Ames after a short battle with cancer. A Celebration of her life was held on Monday, May 16 from 5-8:00 p.m. Her cremains will be spread at a later time.

Kathy Deanna Kennedy was born February 17, 1962 in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Louis and Joyce (Paterson) Kennedy. Kathy was married to Tim Snider and to this marriage two children were born. The marriage ended in divorce. On December 18, 1992, Kathy married Patrick Deimerly in Webster City. The couple made their home in Clarion. Kathy worked at Unlimited Opportunities for the past six years, until her health would no longer allow her to work. Kathy enjoyed working with her clients as well as being a friend to each of them. Kathy enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed doing cross stitch and putting together puzzles, but most of all being with her family.

Surviving Kathy is her husband, Pat; daughter, Jessica; son, Travis; stepson, Jeff Deimerly and wife, Robin; two grandchildren; mother, Joyce Craig; three sisters, Karen, Edith and Sarah; one brother, Louis; along with her family members from her first marriage. Kathy always made sure that family came together and stayed together. Kathy was preceded in death by her father.
