Lynn Llewellyn Schroder, 87, of the Dows and Galt areas, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 4 at the Dows Methodist Church. Pastor Stan Watne officiated. Burial was in the Galt Cemetery.

Lynn Llewellyn Schroder was born July 17, 1917. the son of Bill and Margaret (Kuehl) Schroder. He received his education in the Vernon Township country school, the Public School of Seattle, Washington and graduated from the Galt High School in 1935. On July 4, 1941, Lynn was united in marriage to Celeste Elaine Korth, also of Galt, in Marysville, Missouri. Lynn farmed his whole life, but also had a passion for hunting and fishing. In 2000, Lynn entered the USA Healthcare Center in Dows. When that facility closed he transferred to the facility in Clarion.

He is survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Celeste; three brothers, Stanton "Buck" Schroder, Mitchell D. Schroder and Van Schroder.
