Lyle `Butch' Stanley Boyington
May 30, 1926 - Sept. 24, 1999

Butch Boyington, 73, died Thursday in Albany, OR. Cause of death is unknown. Born in Rowan, Iowa, he graduated from Medical Lake High School in Medical Lake, Wash. He served in the Navy during World War II and received a Purple Heart. He was a truck driver for 36 years, retiring in 1985. He married Margaret in 1949 she died in March. He enjoyed fishing, camping, card playing and spending winters in Arizona. Survivors include his daughter, Judy Beyerl of Jefferson sons, Robert of Sedro Woolley, Wash., and Randall of Vancouver, Wash. brother, Eugene of Boise, Idaho sister, Violet Sharp of Cheney, Wash. and five grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at 756 S Main St. in Jefferson. Private interment will be at Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem. Arrangements are by Keizer Funeral Chapel.
