David Paul Knuths, 50, of Hull, formerly of Clarion, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Hope Haven Northside Court in Hull. Funeral services were held Monday, January 26th at Ewing Dugger Funeral Home, Clarion. Pastor, Janet Wearda officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service. Burial was in the Galt Cemetery.

David Paul Knuths was born September 18, 1953 in Clarion, the son of Dale and May Bell (Jacobson) Knuths. He was raised and educated in Clarion and graduated from the Eagle Grove High School. David lived at home for a while and moved to Woodward where he attended Woodward College. He has lived in Hope Haven, Rock Rapids, Webster City, Fort Dodge, Nora Springs and settled in Hope Haven Northside Court in Hull. David always enjoyed coming home for family gatherings, bowling and pizza parties. He was an avid football fan, his favorite team being the Minnesota Vikings. He was also involved in the Special Olympics competing in bowling. David is survived by his brother, Alan of Pocahontas; two sisters, Alice Retleff and husband, Larry of Rowan; Carol Madden and husband, Robert of Livingston. Texas; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; sister-in-law, Sharon Knuths; and two nephews.
