Charles Frederick Schutt, 88, of the 400 block of Northwest 86th Street, Urbandale, died of pneumonia Friday at Mercy Hospice-Johnston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery. Mr. Schutt was born in Woolstock and had lived in Webster City and Blairsburg before moving to Urbandale in 1991. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Edna a daughter, Suzanne Schutt of Urbandale two sons, Robert of Des Moines and Dennis of West Des Moines a sister, Hazel Brock of Woolstock, three brothers, Ilo of Woolstock and Deslyn and Eldred, both of Clarion seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church and its school.
