James Alford Kitley
James A. Kitley 86 of Ventura died Wednesday at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Kitley was born April 23 1911 in Woolstock Iowa. He was a route manager for Coca-Cola for 25 years and owned and operated the Refuge Tavern in Mira Monte for 10 years. He was a 50 year member of the Poinsettia Lodge 633. He is survived by brothers Elmer Kitley of Lancaster John Kitley of San Marcos and Jerry Kitley of Pahrumph Nev.; and sisters Evelyn Sult of Rogue River Ore. and Mary Jane Rethman of Fullerton. The family would like to thank the Ventura Police Department and the Ventura County medical examiner for their kindness and courtesy. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home Ventura.
