LOLA LUCILLE GERBER, 85, of Security died Sunday in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Storm Lake, Iowa. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Storm Lake. Mrs. Gerber was born Aug. 15, 1905, in Woolstock, Iowa, to Samuel and Elmira (Parrish) Pate. She attended school in Woolstock and lived in Storm Lake for 50 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Storm Lake. Mrs. Gerber had lived in Colorado Springs for four years. She was married in 1926 in Webster City, Iowa, to Lloyd Gerber, who died in 1965. Mrs. Gerber is survived by a son, Gerald of Security; a brother, Carroll Pate of Clarion, Iowa; a sister Laura Sexe of Roswell New Mexico; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She had a daughter, Dorothy Sherwood; a brother, Cecil Pate; and three sisters, Beulah Wallukait of Humboldt, Wila Brown, and Hazel Pate, who are deceased.
