John Parrish
Graveside services for John Chester Parrish, 70, will be 10:45 a.m. today at Riverside National Cemetery. He died Thursday of heart and lung failure at his home in Lake Elsinore. Evans-Brown Mortuary in Lake Elsinore is handling arrangements. Mr. Parrish, who was born in Woolstock, Iowa, lived in Lake Elsinore for 20 years. He owned and operated a dry cleaners for 10 years. He served with the U.S. Army from 1943 until 1946. Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Lynn Marchant and Tom Marchant, both of Iowa; a daughter, Gerrie Donnovan of Romoland; five grandchildren; two brothers, Walter J. and Kenneth, both of Iowa; two sisters, Edie Moe of Iowa and Marie Parrish of Van Nuys.
