Mildred Ross Marlow, 100, Village on the Isle, Venice, died June 25, 2006. She was born Sept. 29, 1905, in Goldfield, Iowa, and came to the Venice area in 1970. She was a University of Minnesota graduate and worked as a first-grade teacher for 42 years in Minnesota before retiring. She had been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Teachers Organization, the Venice Women's Club and was a charter member of the Mankato State University Heritage Club. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Venice. Survivors include many nieces and nephews and friends. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Village on the Isle, Renaissance I Room, Venice. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge.
