Mary Peterson, 62, a long time Colorado Springs resident, passed away April 9th, 2003 in Mt. Vernon, Washington. She was born May 8th, 1940 in Goldfield Iowa to David and Vivian (Myers) Hansen. She is survived by her mother Vivian of Colorado Springs; sister, Judy Miner (husband Jim) of Colorado Springs; son, Kurt (wife Sandra) of Monument CO; son, Todd (wife Karen) of Mt. Vernon WA; daughter Jill (husband Stuart Peterson) of Florissant CO; 7 grandchildren: Austin, Nathan, Jeremy, Shannon, Preston, Cody and Jake; great grandson Andrais; former husband Jerry; and former daughter-in-law Dawn and son James. She was preceded in death by her father David and sister Carolee Shimon. A brief graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 16th, 2:00pm at Crystal Park Cemetery in Manitou Springs followed by a reception at the Hansen residence.
