DAVID A. HANSEN
Mr. Hansen, 87, died July 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a farmer in Iowa. He also was owner and operator of the Motel X in Ute Pass. Mr. Hansen was born March 26, 1914, in Goldfield, Iowa, to Magnus and Mabel Paine Hansen, who are deceased. He was married July 3, 1935, to Vivian Myers. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mary Peterson and Judy Miner; a brother, Robert; two sisters, Dorothy Paine and Katherine Hansen; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolee Shimon. No services are planned. A private inurnment will be at Crystal Valley Cemetery, end of Plainview Place, Manitou Springs. Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831, is handling arrangements.
