Ronald E. Weld Oct. 30, 1941 -- June 6, 1998

Ronald Eugene Weld, 56, of Turlock died Saturday at his home. Mr. Weld was a native of Goldfield, Iowa. He lived in Turlock 25 years and grew up in Astoria, Ore. He was a sales and service manager for International Paper Co. for 32 years. He attended Turlock Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a past member and past governor of the Moose Lodge and a member of Men of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. He is survived by his wife, Reba Weld of Turlock; stepchildren, Debra Sattler of Kalispell, Mont., Sharon Stiles of Long Beach and Greg Weld of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Roger Weld of Anchorage; sister, Verdeen Jackson of Phoenix; and nine grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allen Mortuary. Burial will be private at Turlock Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the mortuary. Remembrances may be made to Hospice of Emanuel, 825 Delbon Ave., Turlock 95382, or the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2400 N. Olive Ave.,Turlock 95382.
