Delos Clayton Moats, 76, of 503 S. Main St. died Wednesday at the VA Hospital in Salisbury. Funeral plans are incomplete at Meyer Funeral Home in Council Buffs, Iowa. A native of Woolstock, Iowa, he was a Navy veteran of World War II and a former employee of Sidles Co. in Omaha, Neb. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Edith Moats Taylor of Randleman, Mrs. Rosalind Taylor of Asheboro, Miss Delores P. Moats of Council Bluffs, Iowa; son, John C. Moats of Riverside, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Mabel Will of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Mrs. Alma Cameron of Fairbanks, Alaska; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Pugh Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
