Connie Kamp, 91, of Renwick, passed away January 16, 2005 at the Humboldt Care Center North in Humboldt. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Renwick. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Renwick. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Kamp is survived by her daughter, Joan Baldwin of Des Moines; sons and daughter-in-laws. Marvin and Merrillyn Kamp of Humboldt, and Vernon and Kathy Kamp of Renwick; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Mabel Odland; half-brother, Paul Jacobson; step-sister Viola Armstrong, and sister-in-laws, Betty Jacobson and Eleanor Jacobson, all of Eagle Grove; and step-brother, Amos Munson of Ft. Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Henry; daughters, Henrietta Ayres, and Barbara Faltinson; infant half-brother, Elmer; infant half-sister, Caroline; sisters Burnette, Alma, and Genevieve; brothers, Bennie, Theodore, and Alfred; half-brother, Clarence; step brother, Marion; and step grandson, Mike Baldwin. Connie Jacobson, the daughter of Carl and Carrie (Knudson) Jacobson, was born December 20, 1913 at Humboldt, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Beaver township until moving with her parents to the Kanawha area. she was united in marriage to Henry Kamp on January 22, 1934 at Klemme and the Couple farmed in the Eagle Grove and Renwick areas. They made their home near Kanawha in 1952. Henry passed away in June of 1976. Connie made her home at Renwick until becoming a resident of the Humboldt Care Center North in January of 1996. Connie was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.
