Bettie J. Valenti, 50, Eagle Grove, Iowa, formerly of Eagleville and Pattonsburg, died Sunday, March 6, 2005 at a Lamoni, Iowa healthcare facility. She was born October 15, 1954 in Ottawa, Kan., the daughter of Lester, Jr. and June (Bell) Ruff. She was married to Donnie Valenti. She was a cook and a seamstress. She was a member of the Eagleville Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Darbie Valenti of Rosendale, Mo.; two sons, Cory Valenti of Eagleville, and Steven Valenti of Eagle Grove, Iowa; one sister, Lois Anne Ruff of Sweet Springs, Mo.; one brother, Terry Ruff of Sweet Springs, Mo.; mother, June Ruff of Eagleville; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; father, Lester Ruff, Jr.; grandparents, Lester and Lois Ruff and Claude and Ester Bell.Memorial Services will be Friday, March 11th at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The body has been cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa, Mt. Ayr, Iowa in care of the funeral home at P.O. Box 46, Bethany, Mo. 64424.
