Mrs. Dorthea Elvina Nielsen, 75, died Tuesday afternoon in Skiff Hospital, Newton. She had been ill for several weeks. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Eagle Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Albert Snyder officiating. Interment will in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Nielsen, a long time resident of Eagle Grove, was visiting her son John in Monroe when she became ill and was taken to the hospital. She is survived by seven children: John of Monroe; Mrs. Anna Espevold, of Northwood; Mrs. Evelyn Groseland, Cherokee; Charles of Osceola; Mrs. Etta Collins, Eagle Grove; Gerald of Hubbard; and Mrs. Betty Welch of Columbia, Mo.
