MARY SPILLER ROBINSON

Miss Mary Ellen Spiller was born at Holderness, New Hampshire February 2, 1856. At the age of eight years, she came with her parents to Dixon, Illinois. On September 14, 1873, she was united in marriage to George Robinson. To this union were born five children, two of whom died in infancy.

She came with her family to Webster City in 1901 and later to Rowan, which has been regarded as her home for the last nine years. He husband proceeded her in death December 14, 1912.

She is survived by three children: Mrs. Lucy Langdon of Clear Lake; Albert G. Robinson of Council Bluffs; and Roscoe L. Robinson of Dows; by an only sister Mrs. Janette Robinson of Odebolt; and two brothers Nathan Spiller of Odebolt and Willis Spiller of Belvidere and seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She passed away from a complication of diseases at the home of her sister, Mrs. Janette Robinson, of Odebolt Sunday afternoon June 8. The remains were brought to the home of her grand-daughter, Mrs. Leonard McCallum in Rowan Monday evening. The funeral was conducted from the Congregational Church Tuesday afternoon at 2, by the pastor, Rev J W Bosnell. Interment was made in Graceland Cemetery.
