OPTOMETRIST OPENS MAQUOKETA OFFICE
Dr. Melvin L. Bernard, optometrist, will open an office on the main floor of the Hurst Hotel, Maquoketa, about February 9, 1949.
Dr. Bernard, a graduate of the Northern Illinois College of Optometry, is married and a native of Eagle Grove. He served in the Army three years, two of which were overseas in Europe. He attended Eagle Grove Junior College and Iowa State College at Ames. Dr. and Mrs. Bernard will reside at 211 Austin Avenue, Maquoketa.
