(September 30, 1818 – November 20, 1906)

Obituary
Peter Steffenson Haga was born in Norway, September 30, 1818 and die in Northwood, Iowa, November 20, 1906, aged 88 years, 1 month and 20 days. In 1865, with his family, he came to America. In 1867 he settled in Brookfield Township, Worth County, Iowa, where he lived until a short time ago. During the past year he moved into Northwood to enjoy a well earned rest from life’s labors. He built himself a fine little home which he was never permitted to occupy. The funeral services were held on Thursday, November 22nd, Rev. O. G. U. Siljan speaking the words of peace and rest. The interment was made in Shell Rock Cemetery. Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. H. J. Hanson of Adams, Minn., and Miss Soneva Peterson of Northwood. His wife and only son preceded him to the great beyond.
