Obituary
Kristi Dokken was born in Gol Hallingdal, Norway, November 25, 1840. Died in Brookfield Township, Worth County, Iowa, July 9th, 1907 the cause of death being asthmatic heart trouble from which she had suffered for several years. Deceased was married to Torkel Severson and leaves surviving her, the husband and one son in this country and also a son in Hallingdal, Norway, also a sister and brother in Norway and a sister, Mrs. Ole J. Lucken of Minneapolis. Deceased was in poor health for the last few years and death came as a welcome relief to her whose life in recent years had been one of sorrow and disappointment. Interment was held in the Elk Creek Cemetery, Friday, July 12th, Rev. Pederson of Kensett conducting the funeral services. Source – Northwood Anchor, Northwood, Iowa, Tues., July 23, 1907, p.4
