Manly – Albie J. Yezek, 77, died Monday at his farm home south of Manly.
Funeral services will be Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The parish Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Bride Funeral Home.
Born Oct 9, 1891, in Manly, he was the son of Frank and Rosa Yezek. He was married Jan 20, 1920, to Elsie Chalpnik. She died in 1932. June 23, 1936, he was married to Mary Trainer. They lived in California 10 years and in 1952 returned to farm here. He retired in 1961.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters, Sr. Marguerite, BVM; Mrs. Neil (Florence) Brown, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Darold (Sharon) Hagg, Rockwell; a son, Ronald, Manly: four grandchildren, two brothers, Emil and Joe Yezek, Manly; four sisters, Mrs. Ferd (Helen) Hebel, Manly; Mrs. Chris (Blanche) Hebel, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Melvin (Leona) Johnson, Mason City; Mrs. Ralph (Marie) Reynolds, San Francisco.
