Josie Peterson Funeral Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Tom Peterson, 85, of Lake Mills, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sion Lutheran Church, rural Lake Mills. Rev. Richard Hansen of Albert Lea officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Peterson died Wednesday, March 7, at the Lake Mills Nursing Home. She was born August 31, 1893, in Worth County, Iowa, the daughter of Hans and Guri Bergan. She married Thomas Peterson January 10, 1934. Mrs. Peterson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Genevieve) Montei, Albert Lea, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Adolf (Minnie) Winden, Joice, and Mrs. John (Alice) Berge, Northwood; and two grandsons.
