Tracy L. Carpenter, 40, of 207 E. Main St., Manly died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City. A memorial service was held on Tuesday at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, in Mason City with Pastor Wendy Johannesen, Plymouth United Methodist Church, officiating. Inurnment was held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation was held on Monday at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Tracy L. Carpenter Memorial Fund.

Tracy Lee Carpenter was born on June 5, 1965, in Mason City. He is the son of Ronald and Sharon (Hagen) Carpenter. He was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City. Tracy attended the Mason City Public Schools. He worked at White Transfer, Forest City; Fieldstone Cabinetry, Northwood; Ruan Trucking, Mason City, and most recently was a truck driver for Dedicated Logistics in St. Paul, MN. Tracy was united in marriage to Patty Peshak on Sept. 26, 1992, at Plymouth United Methodist Church. He enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes and watching NASCAR racing. Tracy was a member of the River City Radio Control organization.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Patty Carpenter; one son, Eric Peshak, Manly; parents Ron and Jo Carpenter, Clear Lake; one brother, Randy (Candy) Carpenter, Amarillo, TX; aunt, Arlene (Bob) Kramer, Clear Lake; uncles, Roger (Janet) Carpenter, Lakewood, CO, and Richard (Bonnie) Carpenter, Rockwell; niece, Lauren Carpenter; nephews, Chad Carpenter, Jeffrey and Michael Steiff, Scott, Robert and Jim Peshak; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dot and Lester Peshak, Plymouth.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Richard Carpenter, Clyde and Emma Watson, Chris and Lillian Hagen; and his mother, Sharon Carpenter.
