Killed by Lightning.
Northwood Index:—Last Thursday afternoon, during a sudden thunderstorm, a boy of about eighteen or nineteen years of age was struck by lightning and instantly killed In Silver Lake township. The accident occurred on a farm belonging to a Mrs. Mehus of Albert Lea and rented by Mr. Andrew Olson. The boy whose name was Lars Aurdal, was engaged in plowing corn when the storm broke. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon, and it would seem that he sought shelter under a large tree at the edge of the field.
