Patricia Bryant, 68, went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 30, 2017, while visiting her son's home in Ankeny.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Manly, Iowa, on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. (Pat's birthday). A second memorial service will be held in St. Peters, Missouri.

Patricia Ann Tesene was born January 27, 1949, in Mason City, Iowa to John and Barbara (Stevens) Tesene. She grew up in Manly, Iowa where she graduated from North Central High School class of 1967. She later moved to Waterloo, Iowa where she raised her four children.

Pat was employed as a secretary with the American Red Cross in Waterloo, Iowa. In 1989 she moved to Germany where she lived for seven years near Stuttgart working as a civilian secretary for the Army Special Forces commanding officer. Later she had a very successful career as a realtor in St. Charles, Missouri where she lived for the next 21 years.

Pat was a beautiful, vibrant woman known for her deep faith, fierce love of family and fondness for giraffes. She was a vivacious extrovert who struck up a conversation with every stranger she met, never failing to mention either the Lord or her family in those interactions. Pat was a devoted servant at the Harvestor Baptist Church in Saint Peters, active in church Bible studies and teaching Sunday School. She also participated in political campaigns, and enjoyed playing Words with Friends on the computer. Most of all, Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, watching the St. Louis Cardinal games with her husband Gene, and doting over her dog and cat.

Pat will be deeply missed by her husband, Eugene Bryant II; sons, Jason (Jennifer) Entner of Colorado, Brian (Alison) Entner of Illinois, and Chad (Janell) Brandhorst of Iowa; 10 grandchildren, CJ, Dominic, Bailey, Emma, Chloe, Kaylie, Andrew, John, Aubrey and Eddie; 1 great-grandchild, Teighan; stepson, Gene Bryant III; siblings, Roy (Connie) Tesene, Kathy (Dennis) Kruger, Deb (Perley) Holloway and Steve Tesene; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Barb Tesene; daughter, Christine Blaine; and previous husband, Lee Stapf.

Memorials may be directed to the family or Harvestor Baptist Church. Condolences may be shared at www.AnkenyFuneralHome.com .
