Floyd E. Trettin, 75, of Route 1, Grafton, died Monday, April 29, 1985 of cancer at home.

Mr. Trettin had farmed in the Grafton area until retiring in 1972. He was born in the home where he died.

No funeral service was held. The body was cremated.
Hamilton's Funeral Home, Des Moines, was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Kathryn Rosenberg, St. Ansgar, and Karen Scharper, Des Moines; one son, Richard, St. Ansgar; seven grandchildren; one sister, LaVille Hollatz, Fort Lauderdale, FL; and one brother, Arthur, Grafton.
