Fred "Fritz" Oscar Hulshizer (Jr) was born February 24, 1911 at Liscomb, Marshall, Iowa to Fred Oscar Hushizer (1881-1950) and Rosa Anna Aderhold (1880-1979).

Found in the 1920 census at Pleasant Valley, Cerro Gordo, Iowa: Fred Hulshizer 39, Rose Hulshizer 38, Lawrence Hulshizer 17, Herbert Hulshizer 16, Warren Hulshizer 12, Fred Hulshizer 9, Ester Hulshizer 6, Sylvester Hulshizer 4, Harold Hulshizer 1 yr 10 mos.
