Tollef S. "Tom: Felland 1896-1983

Tollef S. "Tom" Felland, 86, of Forest City, died Monday (Sept. 12, 1983) in a Forest City hospital.

Mr. Felland was born Dec. 12, 1896, in Worth County to Sven and Elsie Felland. He married Eleanor Teigen on Oct. 22, 1920; she died Aug. 10, 1961.
He then married Beulah Suby on Dec. 12, 1966.

A veteran of World War I, he worked as a carpenter in the Fertile area for many years, then later in the road maintenance department for Worth County, retiring in 1966.

Mr. Felland is survived by his wife, Buelah, Forest City; four daughters, Mrs. Ed (Naomi) Hope, Leland; Mrs. Keith (Mayvis) Sheimo, Clear Lake; Mrs. Glenn (Kathleen) Schlawin, Garner and Mrs. Sharon Jenkins. Longmont, Colo., and a son, Ordean Felland, Fremont, Calif. Also four stepsons, Arden Suby, Manly; Norman Suby, Clear Lake, and Ardell Suby and Ronald Suby, both of Forest City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Leo (Elsie) Chisholm, Osage, and Mrs. Sandra Oswald, Charles City. Three sisters, Mrs. Gyda Olson, Northwood, N.D.; Mrs. Anna Rollefson, Mason City, and Mrs. Ella Kingland, Clear Lake; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 21 step grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
