WILLIAM H. TRETTIN
DIED FROM HEART
ATTACK ON MONDAY

William H. Trettin, a well-known Grafton man, and foster father of Miss Norma Towne, of Osage, died at the home of his wife's sister, Mrs. Minnie Bringolf, early Monday morning, after an illness of about ten hours. His death is a hard blow indeed, to the famiy, which has suffered the loss of another member, Henry Trettin, just five days before. The men were cousins.

Mr. and Mrs. William Trettin had gone to Mrs. Bringolf's home to spend Sunday evening, and soon after arriving Mr. Trettin suffered a hemorrhage from the nose, and soon a heart attack. The shock of his cousin's death has been severe, and his system had also been weakened by a period of poor health.

He was born in Grafton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Trettin, Sr., and had lived there all his life. He married Louise Nitschke, also a Grafton resident, and while they had no children of their own, they had adopted three daughters and given them every care and advantage possible. Mrs. Trettin, Letha, Della and Norma, mourn the passing of a kind husband and father.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the home, and at the German Lutheran church, in charge of the Rev. Carl Landdeck, and burial was made in the Grafton Cemetery.
