Wilbert Fredrick Borchardt, 76, of rural Plymouth, died Tuesday, June 16, 1992, at his home.
Funeral services were held at 11 A.M. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Rev. Gregory Bjornstad officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.
Wilbert F. Borchardt was born on December 29, 1915, a son of Edward and Florence (Fluhrer) Borchardt, near Plymouth, Worth County. Wilbert farmed on his farm all his life until his retirement in 1982. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his great love was his brothers and sisters and his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his family. He was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton.
Survivors include a brother, Donald (Betty) Borchardt, Plymouth; three sisters, Mabel (Orville) Hesse, Mason City, Dora (James) Roberts, Manly, and Donna (Troy) Bowling, Marshalltown; nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Lorraine (Julius) Rusley.
