George A. Pagel, 73, of rural Grafton, died Saturday, November 9, 1991, at North Iowa Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. Gregory Bjornstad officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Luella Pagel of rural Grafton, five daughters, Phyllis (Glenn) Ahlf, St. Ansgar, Janice (Jerry) Hackbart, Mason City, Sherry (Don) Wieland, Osage, Betty (Paul) Skram, Portage, MI, and Jane (Michael) Connor, Clear Lake; one son, Larry Pagel, St. Cloud, MN; and three sisters, Alfrieda (Henry) Crooks, Kensett, Dorothy Pahl and Elsie Rachut, both of St. Ansgar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
