THE OBITUARY OF
GOTTLIEB DALLUGE

A pioneer resident of this district Gottlieb Dalluge, passed away at the home of his daughter here January 30 [1924].

Mr. Dalluge was born in Polan, Germany, April 14, 1847. He came to America in 1883 and settled in Nashua, where he lived for about a year. Then he moved to Grafton, where he resided on a farm, east of town, for about thirty years.

He retired from active farm life about ten years ago and moved to town, where he lived until the death of his wife about six weeks ago. Since then he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Macken, on a farm southeast of town. He has been in poor health for some time, but death came rather unexpectedly.

He leaves to mourn his passing four sons: Carl, Ralph, Emil and Henry, and two daughters, Mrs. Macken and Mrs. Larson.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon and interment were made in the Lutheran cemetery.
