MILDRED J. BORCHERT

GRAFTON, IOWA - Mildred J. Borchert, 78, of rural Grafton, died Wednesday (Nov. 13, 2002) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiating. Interment will take place at the Grafton Cemetery in Grafton.

Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 207 S. School St., St. Ansgar, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

Mildred was born on Aug. 11, 1924 in Lake Mills, to Andrew and Otilda (Breckson) Chose.

She married Warren Borchert on Oct. 24, 1942, at Salem Lutheran Church, Lake Mills. She and her husband farmed near Grafton.

Survivors include on son, Stanley Borchert and his wife, Kathy, of Auburndale, Wis.; two daughters, Charlotte Cole and her husband, Gary, of Plymouth, and Linda Patterson and her husband, Virgil, of St. Ansgar; seven grandchildren, Michael Cole and his wife, Nichole, Michelle Hill and her husband, Andy, Nathan Borchert, Kyli Borchert and her fiance, Jeremy Brown, Adam Borchert and his wife, Tracy, Mackenzie Patterson and Corey Patterson; and two great-grandchildren, Mitchell Cole and Hannah Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; sons, Steve and Larry; daughter-in-law, Barb; seven sisters and two brothers.
