SERVICES HELD FOR S. JASPERS
Northwood Man Was Resident 12 Years; Ill Four Months
Northwood – Funeral services for Samuel J. Jaspers, 67, were held Sunday afternoon at the Jaspers farm home near Northwood and at the First Methodist church of which he was a member with the pastor, the Rev. R. S. Phillips, in charge.
Mr. Jaspers died Wednesday at his home after four months illness. He had been a resident of this vicinity 12 years, from 1920 to 1928 and returned in 1935 to spend the remaining four years of his life here.
Mrs. Jaspers died in 1936. Surviving are four sons and four daughters; Carl, Jake, Fred and Harold Jasper and Mrs. Roy Clagett and Miss Adelyn Jaspers, all f Worth county; Mrs. Arthur Halland, Minneapolis; Mrs. George Kebschull, Traer; five sisters; Mrs. Will Knock; Mrs. Dick Peters and Mrs. Henry Primus, all of Wellsburg; Mrs. John Nessen, Parkersburg; Mrs. Martim Thomas, Marshalltown; and one brother, Harm Jaspers, Wellsburg, and 15 grandchildren.
