WILMA HACKBART

GRAFTON - Wilma Hackbart, 84, of rural Grafton, died Friday (Dec. 24, 1999) at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson and the Rev. Rose Marie Nack officiating. Interment will be in the Grafton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today at Champion Funeral Home in Osage and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church Tuesday.

Wilma was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Rock Township, Mitchell County, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Neuman) Wilde. She was educated in rural Mitchell County schools and married Roland Hackbart in 1940.

She farmed with her husband in the rural Grafton area her entire married life. He preceded her in death in 1991.

Wilma loved the farm life and caring for her children and grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by four daughters, Janice Hackbart of Mason City, Jane Psotka and her husband, Jerry, of Bloomington, Minn., Marlene Kavars and her husband, Gus, of Mason City, and Barbara Bartz and her husband, Dennis, of Grafton; one son, Jerry Hackbart and his wife, Jan, of Mason City; 10 grandchildren, David Psotka, Christopher Psotka, Joshua Psotka, Tim Hackbart, Kelli Hackbart, Mike Hackbart, Heidi Kavars, Mark Kavars, Brian Bartz and Andy Bartz; three great-grandchildren, Christina Hackbart, Samuel Hackbart and Isaac Bartz; one sister, Vianora Feldt of Osage; and one brother, Irvin Wilde of Osage.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two infant siblings; four brothers, Ferdinand, Arnold, Roy and Elmer; and one sister, Alice Kuntz.
