Linda L. Irvin, 45 of Sioux City died unexpectedly Saturday, September 24, 1994, at a Sioux City, hospital.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with the Rev. Karen Groe-Dearchs of Hornick United Methodist Church officiating. The body will be cremated. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Mrs. Irvin was born on August 3, 1949, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of John and Alice {Westendorf} Okland. She attended St. Ansgar, Iowa schools. She married Kenneth Irvin Oct. 18, 1991, in Elk Point, S.D. She was a seamstress for Hovaland Manufacturing Co. for several years until the company closed. She was currently a student at Western Iowa Tech Community College.

Survivors include her husband; a son and his wife, Eric and Ingrid Beyer of Havre, Mont.; her mother, Alice Nack of Albert Lea, Minnesota; five brothers: Dick and his wife Kim Okland of Des Moines, Iowa; Ron and his wife Carolyn Okland of Great Falls, Montana; Virgil Okland of Denver Colorado; Bob and his wife Juanita Okland of Lake Mills, Iowa; and Donny and his wife Pat Okland of Fort Collins, Colorado; three sisters and their husbands: Pat and Mike Levison, and Marlyn and Ralph Olson, all of Albert Lea, Minnesota; and karen and Duane Abrahams of Bolon, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John; her stepfather, Wilmer, and her twin brother, Michael.

A memorial has been established in her memory.

1. She was married to Ronnie Beyer, and later divorced, before marrying Kenneth Irvin.

2. Linda was interred beside her brother, Michael, in South Shellrock cemetery, Northwood, Iowa.
