William Wilde, 82

Funeral services for William Wilde were held Saturday afternoon, January 30, 1932 and burial made in the local cemetery.

Mr. Wilde passed away Thursday at the home of his son Walter who resides on the old Wilde homestead east of town.

He was born in Germany 82 years ago and came to America with his parents when a young lad six years of age.

After his marriage he engaged in farming for a number of years on the farm in Rock Creek Township. He retired from active work about 15 years ago coming to Grafton to live.

His wife preceded him in death by about 3 years and since that time he has made his home with his son and family.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. C.H. Witt of Northwood, Mrs. Alex Wills of Myrtle, and Mrs. Otto Walk of Grafton; and one son, Walter of Grafton, a number of grandchildren and many other relatives.
