DIES ON FARM WHERE LIVED FOR 74 YEARS - Funeral Rites Held Monday For Miss Ada Johnson, Lifelong Resident of Hartland--

Funeral services for Miss Ada Tina Johnson, 74, were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Shell Rock Lutheran church two miles west of Northwood preceded by a brief service at 1:00 o'clock at the Conner funeral home. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. A. J. Tolo, pastor of Shell Rock church, was in charge of the rites.

Miss Johnson died early last Thursday morning at the farm home in Hartland township where she was taken by her parents, Ole D. and Martha Johnson, at the age of two months when they located on that farm, and which had been her home for practically 74 years. She and her brother, Martin O. Johnson, lived together for many years. Mr. Johnson now is sole survivor of the family of nine brothers and sisters. There are a number of nephews and neices and other more distant relatives surviving.

Miss Johnson was born in Worth county on September 26, 1866, and was baptized in infancy by the Rev. T. A. Torgerson, a pioneer Lutheran minister of this vicinity. In 1882 she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith by the Rev. H. B. Hustvedt. She had never married. In recent years her health had failed gradually, but her last illness was only of a few days duration, according to her relatives.
