NORTHWOOD, IA - Leonora K. Ballandby, 87, of Northwood, died Friday (Oct. 19, 1990) at the Manly Care Center.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. today at First Lutheran Church, Northwood, with the Rev. Leo Bjorlie officiating. Burial will be in Elk Creek Cemetery, Kensett.

Leonora K. Orpen was born July 25, 1903, at Kensett, Iowa.

Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, Highway 65 south, Northwood, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Stensrud, Cambridge, Minn.; two sons, Richard of Iowa City, and Benny, Wagoner, Okla.; and one sister, Mabel Ballandby, Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lars; three sisters; and five brothers.
