Funeral Services for Mrs. Leffie B. Bedford, 89, of Lyle, Minnesota, were held October 20, 1983 at bethel Alliance church in Lyle.

Leffie Belle Bedford was born on the Anderson homestead, Deer Creek township, Worth County, Iowa on August 11, 1894, the daughter of Oscar Amos Anderson and Melva Belle (McConnell) Anderson.

At the age of two, her parents moved to Rockton, Illinois and then back to Lyle when she was 12.

On March 15, 1916 she married Frank Erastus Bedford at the home of her parents in Lyle. Two daughters were born to them.

Mrs. Bedford is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. RObert (Blanche) Greiner and Mrs. Russell (Helen) Ashley, both of Austin, Minn., and their husbands.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, her husband and one infant grandson.

Burial was in Woodbury cemetery, Lyle, Minn.
