Funeral Held At
Church In Kensett

Funeral services for Ervin J. Schultz, 94, a retired farmer in the Kensett and Grafton areas, were held Friday at Bethany Lutheran church in Kensett. He died Monday, October 17.

The Rev. Harry L. Peterson officiated, and burial was in the Kensett cemetery.

Ervin waa born February 20, 1889 in Worth County, the son of Charles and Katherine (Arzberger) Schultz He attended rural Worth county schools and married Anna Kruger, September 24, 1913 in Grafton. He retired from farming in 1965 and moved to Kensett. He owned and operated a threshing machine for many years in the area. He had lived at the Manly Care Center since December 1981.

Mr. Schultz was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kensett.

Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Art (Florence) Jones of Otranto, and Mrs. Eldred (Lucille) Urbatsch of Kensett; one son, Gerald of Manly; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur of Nora Springs; and by two sisters-in-law, Anna Schultz of Northwood, and Hazel Schultz of Grafton.
