Timothy Allen Odom, 51, died on Sunday (May 7, 2006) at his home in Kensett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006, at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Highway 65 South in Northwood. Burial will be in Pilot Knob Cemetery, rural Forest City. Visitation will be held after noon on Thursday at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home.

Timothy Allen Odom was born on Jan. 11, 1955, to James and Marilyn (Pederson) Odom in Forest City. On Jan. 29, 1973, Tim joined the United States Army under the buddy plan with his older brother, Mike. He was stationed in Colorado Springs as a specialist fourth class from 1973-1976.

Tim enjoyed fixing cars, spending time with family and friends and liked animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents; one brother, Thomas; stepparents, stepbrother, one uncle, Wesley Pederson; one aunt, Bonnie Pederson; and one niece, Carrisa Odom.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Jessica Odom, of Charles City; brothers, Michael Odom of Mason City, Douglas Odom of Charles City and Jeffrey Odom of Northwood; and one sister, Lori Odom of Kensett.
