A post office has been established in Hanlontown, Worth County, and Anne O. Rye appointed postmaster.
The correct information read as follows: Arne O. Rye was first postmaster of Hanlontown, In 1899, Arne and his brother opened a general merchandise store in Hanlontown and Arne became postmaster in 1900. Arne was also the first mayor of Hanlontown.
