Bosman James Booth
(June 29, 1855 - February 8, 1927)

B. J. Booth was born in Iowa Co., Wis., June 29, 1855. When he was thirteen years of age his parents emigrated to Cerro Gordo Co., Iowa. In 1872 he went to Worth county and settled in Fertile township. His avocation was teaching, having taught in Worth and adjoining counties prior to his election. He married Ida May Dexter, march 20, 1881. He is the present county superintendent of public schools. They have one son--James Burt.
