J. J. Page was born in La Porte county, Indiana, on the 29th day of July. 1870. When he was four years of age his parents moved to Glenville. Minn., where he continued to reside until 189l. Upon attaining his majority he came to Northwood and clerked for A. Holland and later for Holland & Lund for seven years. At the expiration of that time he purchased the interest of Mr. Holland and the firm became Lund & Page. At the end of six months this firm was dissolved and the present firm of Holland & Page was formed.

On the third day of May, 1899. Mr. Page was united in marriage to Miss Julia Swensrud of Gordonsville. Minn. They have one child. Irene M., who was born on the 14th day of May, 1905.

Mr. Page is a staunch republican, and while not an office seeker, he is ever ready to help when matters of political principle are at stake.
